Andrea joined the council in July 2020, at a time when the global pandemic changed the way we live and work and highlighted many of the key aspects of a happy and thriving community life, such as the significance of our green spaces, helping vulnerable people and supporting local businesses and people working from home. Andrea decided to apply to become a parish councillor in order to work on these and other issues that are important to Twyford’s residents.
Andrea has enjoyed living in Twyford since 1999 and has 2 sons who attended Polehampton and Piggott Schools. She feels that Twyford is facing some exciting changes, some of which will present challenges in terms of balancing the village life we value with new housing developments, transport and parking requirements and tackling air pollution. Andrea is looking forward to contributing to ensuring we can maintain that balance for residents and visitors to our village.
