Liz moved to Twyford over 10 years ago and loves the village atmosphere, the friendly people and surrounding countryside – particularly walks around the Loddon Nature Reserve.
After a career in the Civil Service and decades of commuting, Liz decided a 10 minute walk to work was far better than a two hour commute and subsequently worked in retail and the care industry in Twyford.
The village has experienced many changes over the years, including the introduction of the Elizabeth Line, and will continue to evolve in the future. It is important that Twyford retains its unique character despite these changes. Liz looks forward to dealing with the challenges ahead and being further involved in the community through the Parish Council.
