Twyford Parish Council is thrilled to announce the official launch of their skate park tender. They are  inviting proposals from qualified contractors to replace the existing skate park facilities at King George V recreation Ground bringing a dynamic and engaging skate / wheeled sports facility.

This initiative marks a significant step towards enhancing a recreational space that caters to the diverse interests of our residents, particularly the skateboarding community. The project aims to enhance the overall well-being of our residents by promoting an active and healthy lifestyle.

Key features of the proposed skate park project include an inclusive environment that caters to various skill levels, an innovative vandal proof design and makes best possible use of the space. The tender process invites experienced contractors to submit their proposals, outlining their vision for a skate park that aligns with the character of our community.

The skate park tender is now live, and interested contractors can access detailed information, specifications, and submission guidelines here. Twyford Parish Council looks forward to reviewing innovative proposals and collaborating with a skilled partner to bring this exciting project to fruition.

The Council will be initiating a fundraising campaign for the construction of the new park.
